{"id":608,"date":"2014-07-17T21:36:24","date_gmt":"2014-07-17T09:36:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.janetdewagt.com\/?p=608"},"modified":"2019-05-04T23:21:14","modified_gmt":"2019-05-04T11:21:14","slug":"dusky-sound-anchor-island","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.janetdewagt.com\/?p=608","title":{"rendered":"Dusky Sound &#038; Anchor Island"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I feel honoured to have been invited on a DOC\/ <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fiordlandconservationtrust.org.nz\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fiordland Conservation Trust<\/a> week long trip to Dusky Sound. This is the second time I will have visited Dusky \u2013 I still think of it as one of the most beautiful places in the world I have ever painted. The last time I produced 3 bodies of work about Dusky \u2013 one was painted on location, dealing with the ever present rain and transportation problems; the second reflected my fascination with the story of the moose, the third was about the early people who lived in this remote wet place.
